Beer on bikes in a teabag (while playing the fiddle)

img00181

This beer has been teabagged for your pleasure (sicko).

This post was created to discuss our beery-shenanigans while biking tomorrow.  What time shall we start?  Who will drink the most?  Where will we eat?  Why does the pull tab and hole above look like the infinity symbol?  Please answer these questions before I go insane.

100 posts!

Alan has recently brought it to my attention that this is now the 100th post (if you exclude the admin updates – since we weren’t paying enough attention to it before)

A friend of mine just got two ultra-cute kittens, and I now have some good anecdotal evidence to support this claim:

Youre a Kitty!

You're a Kitty!

The frequency of posts has ground to a crawl. Apparently there’s some sort of “end of semester” nonsense going on for all you students. Suckers. Although I am not in school, I would much enjoy celebrating the end of the semester. Are there currently any plans brewing?

Funnies

  1. There was a man who entered a local paper’s pun contest. He sent in ten different puns, in the hope that at least one of the puns would win. Unfortunately, no pun in ten did.
  2. Did you hear about the Buddhist who refused his dentist’s novocaine during root canal work? He wanted to transcend dental medication.
  3. A Buddhist monk, visiting New York City for the first time in twenty years, walked up to a hot dog vendor, handed him a twenty dollar bill, and said, “Make me one with everything.”
The vendor pocketed the money, and handed the Buddhist monk his hot dog. The monk, after waiting for a moment, asked for his change. The vendor looked at him and said, “Change comes from within.” With a wistful smile, the monk walked away.
  4. I have a mind to join a club and beat you over the head with it.
  5. Outside of a dog, a book is a man’s best friend. Inside of a dog it’s too dark to read.

EDIT: Now with pictures.  I originally wanted to post something  involving  dinosaurs and math (maybe a dino eating mathematical operators or dissapointedly reading a math book) but my google searches for “dinosaur math” and “dinosaurs hate math” turned up fruitless.  I guess there are still some things you can’t find on the interwebs.  -Andy

Monday Questions!

Beautiful!

Beautiful!

How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same, while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites? Your house can burn up as it burns down, you fill in a form by filling it out, and alarms go off by going on. When the stars are out, they are visible, but when the lights are out, they are invisible. How can inflammable and flammable mean the same thing? And when a car slows up, it slows down!

Private Practice! (Thursdays, 8pm on ABC)

private-practice-cast

Private Practice

If you’re looking for deep analysis of the inter- and intra-personal and professional relationships in the medical practice world, Private Practice is a really good deal. There’s some suspense fix as well. I can’t wait to see what’s gonna happen to Violet as her psychopath patient is about to make a cut through Violet’s body to take her baby out, thinking that it’s hers and that Violet has stolen it from her.

Here’s Hulu’s link for the online episodes.
