It seems difficult getting folks together for the foodins’ on foody monday.   People are pretty busy this semester.  I’m wondering if there’s a day of the week that might work better for everybody?

Unrelated note:  I’m amused that I just wrote a function called getChunks() for the CS670 homework.

Pretty quiet here lately, must be all the work we’re doing in 670…

Anyone wanna eat somewhere tonight?  Rachael is busy all night and I don’t wanna cook.  Maybe Nayala or sushi or Gohan Time! or even Which Which.

By the way, the name should totally be ‘Gohan Time!’ rather than the more laid back ‘Gohan Time’.  The exclamation point makes all the difference.

Hi all,

So there’s apparently a graduate student BBQ somwhere this evening, followed by a pub crawl (absolutely NOT sponsored by the university :-p). I also have a rather large box that I need people to be around before I can open.
The BBQ sounds fun, and it’s not often that we see !cs grad students. I propose BBQ and crawl, and then dragging several of you to my apartment so I can open the box (don’t worry, there will be sugary snacks, probably some toys, and definitely lots of opportunities for blackmail).
Anyone in?

9 opened today.  7:20 at Cinemark.  Be there, or… don’t be there.  But if you’re not there you’ll miss out on a sweet movie.

Scene Works

I talked to Openstage Theatre today and they have clarified that they are NOT having the usual student preview Thursday for Scene Works since it’s gonna be a short two weekend production. They will still have the student previews for the following plays. I apologize for any inconvenience.
